Where to Find Interesting Websites on the Internet: 10 Great Websites

some time, want to connect with others, or are just looking for something new to do. Check out this list of 10 great websites. All free.

1. Facebook
This site is great for connecting to people and keeping in touch. I'm sure you've heard of it.
2. Google and Gmail

Find anything you'll ever need with Google. Now you can get Gmail. On Gmail there is an application that is free. Completely free.
3. Bored.com
It just has lots of weird and interesting things to do.
4. Wimp.com
These videos are really inspirational and fun. You really need to check this one out! There are thousands of videos, funny, inspirational, educational: this is a must for the internet surfer.
5. YouTube
Endless potential here. Lots of fun, crazy videos to watch.
6. New York Times
The New York Times is a great paper-you can find even more articles online with interactive media. There are fun sections of the times too.
7. Pick-Me-Up
This site has an uplifting quote every few days. It has a link to make it your homepage so you see something nice every time you log on. Also-check out the articles. They're always interesting.
8. eBay
This site is addictive. Sell and bid on items. This is a great way to get a deal and a great way to become insane. I had a friend that set alarms on her phone so she knew when bidding time was almost over. Don't say I didn't warn you.
9. Roger Ebert's Website
Please visit this man's corner of the world wide web. He does great reviews on films-and even if you don't always agree with him, he will make you laugh. I enjoy reading the bad reviews for this reason. He also exposed me to many fine films I never would have even known about. Check out his greatest movies list.
10. WordPress
If you want to create your own space on the internet this is the site for you. All these blogs are great, easy to design, and free!
So there you have it. Just type those site names into Google and you're off. Sure that are a gazillion more sites I didn't mention but I'll leave the surfing up to you from here on. Thanks for reading!
